Straight Lift Manual

If there is enough fly space in the facility, a straight lift fire curtain can be used.  This can lower automatically in the event of a fire, or manually by pulling the rope.

Our unique design will allow the user to lower the curtain easily to seal off the stage as required by NFPA 80 code.  Unlike other manual curtains, ours is easier to operate and does not alter the automatic closure mechanisms.

Straight Lift Motorized

If there is enough fly space in the facility, a straight lift fire curtain can be used.  This can lower automatically in the event of a fire, or manually by pushing a button.

A lineshaft or motorized brail winch are the most common means of motorization.  The convenients of having a motor hoist the curtain will allow the user to lower the curtain and raise the curtain easily to seal off the stage as required by NFPA 80 code. A hydraulic governor is used to control the decent of the curtain.
